Real Weddings: Colorado Winter Wedding Inspiration

Whether a winter wedding here in Colorado is because of numerology, winter is your favorite season, your name is Queen Elsa, or just because winter is the right timing in your relationship, there are many beautiful ways we’ve helped create winter wedding dreams come true both indoors and out in our great state.

When planning begins many months out, there is no way to tell what the weather will be on your wedding day. Proper planning for either an indoor or outdoor ceremony must include weather contingency plans. Some of our brides tend to stay indoors during the winter months but we still built in additional time in the day of wedding schedule to accommodate weather conditions.

Take a look, and get inspired, at these dreamy winter weddings in Colorado.

Abby and Greg

Abby and Greg chose Della Terra Mountain Chateau for their outdoor ceremony in December. One of my favorite parts of this ceremony was the bravery of this bride to wear a sleeveless gown! The snow-covered ground made for exceptional photos and their thoughtful planning included hand warmers and blankets for the guests during the ceremony. The wedding party even had coats, coffee and cocoa nearby for pre and post-ceremony warmth.

Ashley and Jack

Just a few days after Christmas, Ashley and Jack said ‘I do’ at Garden of the Gods Resort. They embraced the proximity of Christmas in their theme and planning, with stockings hung at the fireplace during the reception. Ashley expertly combined multiple themes in her wedding day with strong religious and military aspects that were perfectly balanced with the whimsy and warmth of the traditional Christmas decor.

Jenny and Kyle

Have you dreamed of a blow out party with every anniversary? Jenny and Kyle will have just that each New Year’s Eve on their wedding anniversary! Their military wedding began at the iconic Eisenhower Chapel. The real festivities began with their reception at Mile High Station in downtown Denver. Both spaces were so beautiful and perfect for them.

Erin and Dennis

St Thomas Aquinas in Boulder was such a perfect setting for the wedding of Erin and Dennis. With a January wedding they planned both ceremony and reception indoors. Their elegant theme was exquisitely experienced, look at that blue lace wedding cake, at Boulder’s St. Julien Hotel and Spa.
